The Business Development Associate Role:

In this role, you will learn “business development” skills from the ground up, receive extensive training, engage in team-based selling and gain experience in engaging mid-level and senior executives. People who are highly sociable, love variety, are unafraid of new situations, and are self-starters will thrive. You will work with customers whose products save lives and improve human health. Job Responsibilities and Challenges:

  • Making 60 – 80 Calls per day engaging with senior-level executives to proactively schedule and confirm sales meetings through cold-calling and lead generation campaigns
  • Shadow and participate in calls, visits, presentations and web meetings
  • Gather business intelligence on companies, leads and qualified prospects
  • Partner with Sales Executives to create customized plans for assigned accounts to support sales cycle success and to drive urgency
  • Ensure that CRM database (Sales Logix) contains accurate customer account details and contact information

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communications skills to establish credibility with senior-level executives
  • Experience working in a fast-paced call center environment or as a telemarketer
  • Willingness to learn
  • Solid time management  skills  and structured work approaches
  • A background in or comfort with medical, clinical or marketing sciences topics.
  • A strong drive to compete and win
